Technology Sales Expert (Part-time)

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Tech Expert:
    1. Build relationships with customers.
    2. Assist in choosing the perfect solution to meet an individual’s needs.
    3. Constantly learn new trends in technology.
    4. Facilitate one-on-one learning.
    5. Translate technical information into everyday language.
    6. Assist and troubleshoot customer device issues.
    7. Contribute to maintaining an immaculate brand location.
    8. Promote products from Apple and other various brands.
    9. Install, support and repair customer computer hardware and software products.
    10. Interface effectively with customers to resolve issues related to effective use of technology.
    11. Collaborate with vendor support to assist in problem resolution.
    12. Must maintain compliance with required training and certification as stipulated by various vendors.
    13. Perform other related work duties as assigned.
  • Retail Team Lead:
    1. Build relationships with customers.
    2. Contribute to maintaining an immaculate brand location.
    3. Collaborate with vendor support to assist in problem resolution.
    4. Must maintain compliance with required training and certification as stipulated by various vendors.
    5. Assist with and lead training as required for part-time staff
    6. Take ownership of added responsibilities including, but not limited to: cash drawer reconciliation, hiring and review of seasonal staff, vendor and minor product management, inventory controls, open and close duties, online order processing.
    7. Manage store and staff in the absence of FT staff on-site.
    8. Perform other related work duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES WITH/WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION:

Position involves working in an office setting. Occasional (10-33%) sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling. Frequent (34-66%) viewing a computer and other types of close visual work.    Constant (67-100%) standing, walking, talking, hearing.  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School completion.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, OR REGISTRATIONS:

 

  • Strong background in excellent customer service.
  • Experience with computers, hardware, and software.
  • Familiarity with Apple products.
